The Coin is an eKalimba with weighted keys and a coin on top of the pickup. It has the same tuning as the Nyunga Nyunga. The weighted keys give it a bell-like tone similar to a rhodes or wurlitzer.

eKalimba is a brand of electric kalimbas conceptualized in the 1980s by David Bellinger. The eKalimbas are designed by Bellinger in Portland, Oregon and hand-built from locally-sourced wood. Each instrument has a glueless construction based around a removable bridge, adjustable pickup and 6,5mm (1/4 inch) output jack. They are user-serviceable and tunable and come with a two year warranty.
