Wilted Woman is an alias of Elizabeth Davis, an artist and musician whose work often uses the interplay of technological limitation, algorithmic processes, humor, and human expression/intervention as subject matter. Davis’ output--mainly under the alias Wilted Woman from 2014-2024-- resists easy categorization, ranging from minimalist electroacoustics and chamber music to harsh noise and dance music. She lives and works in Berlin, Germany.
Davis uses a Zenert Tocante in her music and performances, including at the opening weekend of our Lisbon location. She also used a residency at Patch Point to record with the BugBrand Blue modular synthesizer and a Cocoquantus.
