::ABOUT
It can convert CV and optional audio signals into video and audio, the connector is stereo and works as a multiple
to you can get the same signal you put in out again.
It works by changing the frequency of oscillators that are synced to a composite video sync generator.
The signal that is generated is output as audio on a mono mini jack connector, and as video on the RCA jack connector.
::CONNECTION
inputs:
- power jack: 9v DC + in the center
- 3.5mm mono jack CV A+B: 0 to 5v
- 3.5mm stereo jack starve: 0 to 5v (x to works as multiple feed tru, only the tip is used)
outputs:
- RCA: composite video
- 3.5mm mono jack audio: audio output
::CONTROLS
pots:
- right top: starve (attenuation for CV)
- left bottom: pitch A (range for CV)
- right bottom: pitch B (range for CV)
buttons:
gray 6mm: mid pitch momentary.
gray 12mm left: (off) sync horizontal, (on) sync vatical, (blink) no sync
gray 12mm right: (off) high frequency, (on) low frequency
white 6mm: mid pitch momentary.
white 12mm left: (off) sync horizontal, (on) sync vatical, (blink) no sync
white 12mm right: (off) high frequency, (on) low frequency
black right side: interlaced or progressive.
::STANDARTS
PAL seems to work on all devices i have tested it on.
NTSC works on everything i have tested it on, but in the standard mode it did not work on my video projector, so i added a extra mode that makes it work on my video projector.
the next time you power up it will start up in the mode that was last selected
- PAL hold left 12mm gray button during power up
- NTSC hold right 12mm gray button during power up
- NTSC (video projector hack) hold left 12mm white button during power up
