The RK 797 is a solid wood, spalted beech Sub Bass eKalimba.

The lowest note comes tuned to D, but also works well tuned to C.

eKalimba is a brand of electric kalimbas conceptualized in the 1980s by David Bellinger. The eKalimbas designed by Bellinger in Portland, Oregon, are hand-built by Lisbon's Patch Point Team from European locally-sourced sustainable wood. Each instrument has a glueless construction based around a removable bridge, adjustable pickup and 6,5mm (1/4 inch) output jack. They are user-serviceable and tunable and come with a two year warranty.
