RK 851 Spalted Beech Sub Bass with Brass Bar

This kalimba was stolen, and then we tracked it down via the second hand site, and then did a bunch of beauracrazy to get it back from the police.   So here we have it for sale again.  It has a story, and we faught a lot to get this one of a kind instrument back in our hands!

The RK  851 is a solid wood, spalted beech Sub Bass eKalimba. 

Body Size - 25cm x 11,5cm x 4,5cm

The lowest note comes tuned to C, but also works well tuned to D.

eKalimba is a brand of electric kalimbas conceptualized in the 1980s by David Bellinger. The eKalimbas designed by Bellinger in Portland, Oregon, are hand-built by Lisbon's Patch Point Team from European locally-sourced sustainable wood. Each instrument has a glueless construction based around a removable bridge, adjustable pickup and 6,5mm (1/4 inch) output jack. They are user-serviceable and tunable and come with a two year warranty.
